Solutions Sales Specialist

A BRAND-NEW opportunity for a DC Solutions Sales Specialist focused on DC and Cloud solutions.

As the Solutions Sales Specialist you will be the subject matter expert for DC & Cloud solutions, responsible for identifying new business opportunities within existing and new businesses and supporting the account management team. This includes identification, qualification and management of Cloud & Data Centre opportunities, driving opportunities to a close, communicating new product developments to prospective clients and accounts team. This role will be home based with external customer facing.

Responsibilities of the Sales Solutions Specialist

Develop strategic relationships with key accounts and new prospect clients to propose Cloud & Data Centre Solutions offerings in order to grow business and breadth of customers.
Support the account management team in an advisory role to help qualify, develop and manage Cloud & Data Centre Solutions opportunities to closure.
To proactively pursue new business opportunities, in conjunction with the Account Management team including attending sales calls, meetings, presentations and product demonstrations, as appropriate
Scoping customer requirements, understanding the opportunity from a technology first, commercial perspective
Outline the business benefits of a solution design
Build and ratify Cisco Bill of Materials (BOM) including Professional and Managed Services
Assist with project planning
Build relationships with customer, partner and vendor technical community
Generate content for online communities and peers
Continuous Learning and training with relevant architectures and solutions
Creation of Proposals and Tender responses
Work in partnership with our marketing team to support strategic campaigns and promotions for core vendors
Develop the client solution in line with their technology strategy, using good business/financial understandingSales Solutions Specialist Requirements
