This role provides an exciting opportunity to be part of an evolving architecture team within a dynamic organisation, where you will be responsible for ensuring that the business receives architecturally compliant and deliverable designs and integration management processes.

You will be responsible for leading the xaas service lifecycle, including xaas service strategy, design, and supporting the transition into live operation.

You will be an enthusiastic individual who is able to work well with the wider business, including the enterprise architecture function, and provide leadership behaviours to support and coach the team around you.

Ensure proposed Services for new business and new customers are fit for purpose, ensuring operability and efficiency once live.

Experience with formal design and service delivery methodologies including TOGAF and ITIL.

Contribute to the service management acceptance into service process by working closely with the marketing, legal, logistics, compliance, support, service transition, product management and engineering teams.

Prepare service definitions, low and high level service designs. Re-negotiated, update, or creation of service level and operating level agreements (SLA / OLA).

Ensure services are delivered in line with standard xaas service catalogue and the technology road map.

Key Skills

Demonstrate previous service architecture and xaas service design experience and knowledge: including problem solving for service design in an enterprise environment.

Experience in developing xaas service frameworks, standards and principles, coaching others in their use and playing a lead role in the capability development of a service management function.

Develop and maintain xaas service designs, including the delivery of relevant service architectures to support the strategic transition of business solutions into production, by identifying and integrating business, information, and technology architecture, in alignment with service strategy, creating a culture of perpetual challenge and continuous improvement in the delivery of internal and 3rd party services.

Works as part of the product development team and architecture best xaas practices to identify impacts on service architecture and user service experience.


A proven background in service architecture, design & management, with significant experience gained in architecture roles.

A holistic view across different technical concepts (e.g. System, Service, Performance, Support, Flow analysis, Security and compliance).

Conceptual, high-level and low-level design for End User Compute (EUC) technologies; preferably Microsoft tech stack.

Experience with Identity & Access management, including Single Sign-On and identity federation.

The ability to work independently on a day to day basis allocating and prioritising work effectively.

The ability to write coherent, concise, and readable service design, service model documentation including good drafting skills to develop policy proposals
