Part-time (20 hours per week)

Fixed term until March 2024

£26,000 – £28,000(Pro rata)

Purpose Of Role

As eCommerce Content Executive you will:
-Prepare and curate all new and existing content on the eCommerce site
-Ensure that all content on the eCommerce site is accurate and up to date, aligning with the look and feel of The Shop
-Analyse page and content performance making recommendations for changes to layout to improve performance

Key Duties

• Research all new product, maker, producer and exhibition information and prepare the content for publishing onto the eCommerce site; including liaison with makers and producers to ensure that the product is represented as they would want
• Curate seasonal product collections for the site
• Monitor accuracy of content across the eCommerce site, editing as required
• Align the site to any promotional activity going inside The Shop
• Prepare and upload discount codes as required
• Regularly check stock and price information to ensure it is accurate and aligns to the Square system
• Attend quarterly range reviews and plan product launches online
• Review product and content performance on the site; recommending or making change as required
• Maintain the media library
• Work closely with the Marcomms team to identify opportunities for additional content and products online
• Liaise with Finance team as required providing any eCommerce data to them
• Liaise with Product and Planning Manager regarding product photography
• Attend regular meetings with external eCommerce partner, taking action on content as required

A particular feature of the company way of working is the project team. All members of staff are expected to collaborate, from time to time, in cross functional teams to deliver specific projects and programmes of activity. The project teams are multi-disciplinary and bring together the skills and experience needed to deliver a wide range of shared initiatives and objectives. Teams may include experts from external companies or suppliers.

Personal Experience, Skills And Qualities

• Excellent writing skills and experience in writing for websites
• Experience of working with a CMS (preferably Word Press)
• Experience of working across different teams
• Practised in delivering to tight deadlines
• At least 1 year’s experience working in a similar role in eCommerce.
• Knowledge and experience of creating content for an eCommerce environment

• Knowledge and experience of working with WooCommerce

• Japanese language skills - higher business level is essential, especially excellent written Japanese
• Organised and methodical
• Good attention to detail
• Strong planning and time-management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills-able to network internally and externally
• Self-motivated
• Abillity to work within
