FULLY REMOTE ROLE

The Role:

In the Business Development Manager role you'll report to the National Sales Director and will be primarily responsible for driving revenue spend with key pre-existing customers as well as actively targeting new prospects in well-defined and researched market sectors. You will be joining an energetic, target driven sales team. Ideally you will have some previous ITAD / MDS sector experience.

Specific tasks include:

Persuasively communicate with and educating prospective and existing clients on products and/or services that provide the best application to the client's needs
Achieving monthly targets of activity and sales revenue
Partnering with colleagues to actively assist/drive deal closureThis is a home-based position. The details around how this will work will be discussed at interview.

The Candidate:

To be the right person for Business Development Manager role you will need direct experience of managing and developing a new as well as preexisting client and partner base.

We also need you to have prior experience of:

Pro-active telemarketing / e-meetings campaigns focusing on target market sectors
Working with service delivery teams to drive client/partner satisfaction and fielding/resolving client questions and service issues
Conducting research and analysis of business opportunities within defined sectors
Executing sales plans, both short and long rangeIt's important that you also have the following:

A minimum of 5 years of business development related experience
Experience working in an IT Asset or Technology related vertical
Skills in pipeline and Account Management as well as use of sales management tools
A detail-oriented business style and comfortable with a fast-paced, high performance environmentWe need you to be able to periodically visit clients as required on site throughout the UK.

The Package:

The basic salary for the Business Development Manager role is between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus significant commission structure.

In addition you can earn a personal performance bonus in the role if you hit your targets. Full details about the scheme will be revealed on application.
