Supply Teaching

The recruiting team here at Corus Consultancy are working closely with various schools in London supporting them with any short term/sickness cove needs. We are looking for both experienced and newly qualified school teacher's that are either looking for more flexibility or to build more school experience local to home.

Why Supply teaching?

Working with schools on a part time basis without the pressure of a full time position.
You are in control of the days you work.
Potential full or part time contract with the schools which is great if you want to secure a permanent position in the future.
Great opportunity to gain teaching experience if you are a newly qualified teacher.

Some of the responsibilities of a day to day supply teacher are:

Being ready to work at short notice
Following school's policies and procedures
Managing classroom behaviour and being responsible for their physical, emotional and social wellbeing.
Ensuring that work gets completed in the teacher's absence (possibly following a hand over)
Leaving a hand over for the teacher/next member of staff if necessaryAbout the Job:

Temporary / part time

£105 - £160 per day
Minimum 8 hours.Minimum Requirements:

QTS/NQTS or any educational certificates such as a diploma or Bachelors degree.
At least 1 years teaching experience in a primary or secondary school.
