3rd Line Support Engineer (IT Manager)
Project management for all infrastructure-related projects.
Managing supplier relations for all hardware and software-related purchases, renewals, price negotiations and cancellations.
Managing and assisting IT staff of all levels locally and remotely across multiple sites.
Learning and assisting in the administration and management of bespoke in-house production systems
IT project management experience a plus, ability to plan and execute key IT initiatives. Agile, Prince or ITIL certification a plus
- Tech stack etc – would expect to have experience of most but not all of the following
* Microsoft 365 Admin Centre
* Exchange, Sharepoint, Azure, Security/Compliance, MSTeams
* Microsoft Azure AD Admin Centre
* Azure AD Connect
* Azure AD Users and Group
* Azure AD Security
* Azure Enterprise Application
* VMWare vSphere / Hyper-V
* ESXi & vSphere 7.0, 6.7, 5.5
* HPE Server and Storage Infrastructure, Including QNAP NAS Infrastructure
* Windows Server/Domain, Including AD, Group Policy, Print Management, and other key Windows Server roles
* Veeam Backup and Replication
* TCP/IP Networking
* Layer 2 Switching. Cisco, HP Aruba
* Layer 3 Packet filtering at Firewall level
* Wi-Fi systems such as Ubiquiti Unifi and Cisco Meraki
* Network Security
* Firewall technologies such as Watchguard, SonicWall
* Antivirus software such as Sophos Central Endpoint.
* Knowledge of key networking protocols such as HTTPS, SMTP, SFTP, SSH, SSL, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, ARP, STP etc.
* Cisco Unified Call Manager VoIP System
* MSSQL Database Server – mainly admin, management.
* Amazon AWS/Linux – Basic, to low intermediate level. Mainly Administration/managing.
* Includes setting up and managing Raspberry Pi devices for various different functions.
* GSuite – Low level. Mainly administration.
* PowerShell Scripting / Automation would be helpful to help automate and manage the day-to-day aspects of the many moving parts of the infrastructure.
* Some GIT and API knowledge in addition to the above would be helpful when working on projects with Development team.
* ISO27001, GDPR Compliance and Client specific security audit project management. Includes producing the relevant documentation.
* Third Party central management tools such as Solarwinds, Manage Engine, Jira.
