We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Area Sales Manager to join our clients key account team and generate new business through providing added value solutions into manufacturing corporate organisations.

The Role
The Area Sales Manager will expand the existing business base through concentrated market penetration into new and existing sectors.
Develop a full customer understanding and tailor added value solutions to satisfy client needs.
The Area Sales Manager will ensure new business targets are achieved.
Generate leads and appointments.
Manage the bid processes for MRO engineering consumables.
The Area Sales Manager will effectively manage a diary to maximise productivity.
Prepare quotations to the highest standard for range of MRO products.
The Area Sales Manager will establish and maintain business relationships with clients.
Manage the process from securing order through to implementation with client.
The Area Sales Manager will be an ambassador for the organisation and cross sell services offered by other parts of the Company.
The Candidate
The Area Sales Manager will have the freedom to develop this role themselves, so self-motivation, initiative and the desire to succeed are all prerequisite.
The Account Manager will be able to demonstrate successful and proven track record in solution selling and key account management with industrial manufacturers.
Familiar with maintenance, repair and operations consumables such as tools, PPE, abrasives, adhesives, office supplies, safety equipment, electrical components and other engineering consumables.
The Field Sales Executive will be an effective networker, with good presentation skills.
Experience with winning new business through adding value together with value proposition development and sales pipe-line management.
The Field Sales Executive will be confident and self-motivated.
The Account Manager will be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in engineering consumables, industrial supplies, PPE or MRO sectors would be an advantage but above all we are looking for an exceptional individual with the flare and determination to succeed.
