UI / UX Designer

Wise Employment have fantastic opportunities for UI / UX Designers for remote working within the UK. These are new roles due to exciting growth and expansion and will be working within a fast-paced environment.


As an experienced UI / UX Designer, you will support multiple in house software development teams by owning, developing and promoting a common design language to be used across multiple development teams that has a large catalogue of enterprise applications.

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a library of reusable HTML controls which will provide a common interface for users.  This will need to be efficient and intuitive for both developers to implement and the end user to be able to use, that support both rapid application development along with rapid business operation.

You will also support the development teams with designing effective UX flows with wireframes and working prototypes.

Skills required:

In order to be successful in the role, you will be able to design UX flows and UI wireframe to satisfy complex business requirements with complex data structures.

It will be essential for you to have strong JavaScript, HTML, CSS skills along with being able to build reusable and interactive HTML controls.

You will be confident in maximising screen space to support rapid decision making and have an excellent knowledge of browser and network performance.

You will also need to have excellent graphic design, image manipulation and optimisation skills and be able to deliver intuitive UIs.

Working under pressure is key and you will need to be passionate about delivery exceptional service.  This role will need you to be able to manage your own time and self-prioritise workload to meet deadlines.  You will also need to work as part of a team in collaboration across the business.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 845am until 5.30pm and this role is complete remote working so you can be based throughout the UK.
