COMMERCIAL LAWYER
National law firm is looking to recruit a commercial lawyer into its London based team to focus on a commercial contracts, IP and IT work.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will join an established team that acts for a diverse client base that spans private sector, public sector and third sector work.
The role will involve advising and assisting clients in connection with non-contentious commercial work with a focus on technology and data work. Duties include advising and assisting on:
Commercial chain contracts
Distribution terms and conditions
Franchise, agency,
Strategic planning advice
Drafting contracts and negotiating the same on behalf of clients
Supporting corporate team with due diligence work
Providing information governance advice
Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a solicitor with the following:
Qualified solicitor with experience in gained in the role overview.
Demonstrates understanding and recognition of associated issues relating to legislation of: Consumer, Data Protection Compliance, Unfair Terms and IP Application in practical situations.
It is essential you can demonstrate a proven record of of advising clients in relation to all aspects of the application of information governance legislation.
Experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and documentation in private practice
Someone with the ability to prioritise finding solutions for clients.
Good negotiating skills.
