Repair & Service coordinator

Due to business growth, my client is seeking a committed and enthusiastic person to help deliver an excellent customer experience to their current and new clients. The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills and will be driven by providing the best possible service to internal and external customers. Playing a key role in the Operations team and collaborating with the sales and support teams will be imperative to ensure they deliver a comprehensive and coherent service to the customer. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: Responsibility for coordination of all repair and service activities for products & services through the business, from goods inwards until the point of despatch Effectively supervise a small team of technicians, including planning and scheduling workload Work closely with the sales team to ensure customer requirements are understood and achieved as often as possible Providing quotes for service and repair work for the customers Co-ordinating import and export information to ensure smooth receipt and return of products to our customers Using their ERP system and associated processes to deliver after sales repair & service activity in the time frames expected by internal & external customers, as often as possible Create, manage and report a set of KPIs which demonstrate current departmental performance of quality, cost & delivery, identify and implement relevant actions to help improve how they work. Use relevant problem solving techniques and methods when faced with challenging issues Ensure all service and repair processes are clearly documented, kept up to date and understood by all stakeholders Collaborate with and seek best practice knowledge from stakeholders inside and outside of the business, to enable the best possible experience to our customers. Be an integral part of the Operations team, collaborating and communicating positively with direct and indirect colleagues.
