Business Development Manager / Fire Alarms

Business Development Manager / Salesperson Fire Alarms Up to £50k OTE Package We are seeking a Business Development Manager / Salesperson to join an ever expanding contractor that covers London, Northern Home Counties down to the South Coast, they specialise in the design, installation and service of Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, Access Control, and Intruder Alarms systems. Your role will be to not only bring customers to the party, but you will also be able to account manage a major clients and contracts from end user through to contractors. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the industry and have a strong background of Fire Alarms. Duties: Focus activities and ensure budgets are achieved. Promote and find new business and customers with innovative products to achieve the company goals of the year on year increase of sales and gross profit. Excellent inter-personal skills and have good friendly written and verbal communication skills. Interact with other sections of the sales department to ensure no business is lost and all enquiries are handled in a professional manner. Undertake sales visits; follow up quotations made to existing and potential customers and ensure the technical suitability of proposed products. Investigate any leads found by other sales personnel relating to company products, information form trade journals or response leads from our franchises. Promote a positive attitude and create a cohesive team to take the business forward. Embrace the Groups vision and values. About You 5 years plus proven track record in business development / Sales within the Fire Alarm or M&E sector. A consultative and persuasive relationship manager willing to invest time into forging the right commercial relationships for the business. Highly effective communicator with strong presentation skills and decision making/negotiating experience. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to operate at all levels plus within a close-knit team. Adopts a can do proactive mentality, demonstrating natural leadership qualities. Willing to take ownership and responsibility.
