You will be working Sunday - Thursday Nights 22:00 - 07:30 and in return you’ll receive a competitive salary of £23,280.57 per annum. We have 9 depots and over 375 lorries carrying chilled and frozen food all over the country. We’re the only company providing a 24-hour service of this kind, and we’re very good at it. What you’ll be doing as our Warehouse Operative: Receive and check loads into the warehouse, ensuring all correct packaging and labelling is in place and any discrepancies are reported Ensure all stock handled is secure and complies with relevant food safety standards Operate assigned mechanical handling equipment to store and transport customer goods safely Assist with assembling loads for despatch and onto vehicles where required Conduct quality checks to ensure standards of cleanliness and hygiene levels Take action to ensure any hazards are controlled or removed to ensure a safe working environment What qualifications and experience are we looking for in our Warehouse Operative ? Up-to-date licence to use designated mechanical equipment IT literate in Microsoft Office packages The ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data Extensive knowledge and application of warehouse, food safety rules and health and safety procedures What skills and abilities are we looking for in our Warehouse Operative ?
