EHS Product Compliance Specialist

The EHS Specialist, Product Compliance will report to the Sr. Regulatory Manager, EHS and be responsible for delivering product compliance programs to the companies. The position will review new and existing products for compliance with chemical and product compliance regulations. The chemical compliance will include compliance with TSCA and other global chemical compliance regulations. The product compliance reviews will include Consumer Product Safety Act, and analogous regulations in EU and Canada as well as look at chemical restrictions in articles.
The Product Compliance Specialist will reinforce Fujifilm’s leadership values by transforming the organization by
deploying consistent services across the group companies. Ultimately this position will deliver improved services,
consistent approach and assist putting compliant products on the market.

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Product Compliance
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Global Chemical Regulations
  • Project management of EHS projects for group companies.
  • Conduct product compliance audits or be part of the audit team for scheduled audits
  • Assist companies and facilities to standardize and improve their product compliance activities.
  • Provide EHS training or develop training as needed
  • Develop EHS systems and tools for compliance
  • Provide Shared Services to designated companies

Required Skills:

  • BA/ BS in Chemistry. Good knowledge of Organic Chemistry.
  • Able to understand global chemical and product compliance regulation and be able to
    apply it
  • Work with different stakeholders for projects and Shared Services
  • Effective Communication
  • Team Player
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and employees

Desired Skills:

  • QA/ QC
  • Experience with TSCA and REACH regulations
  • Analytical Problem Solving
