Logistics Team Lead

Reports to: Logistics Supervisor

The Logistics Team Lead position has overall responsibility to support administrative and material management duties for all supply chain management activities. This position will work under the direct supervision of the Logistics Supervisor.

Key job tasks:

  • Support customer service and delivery activities
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring logistics operations
  • Assist with loading and loading trucks
  • Support with packaging and labeling boxes
  • Ensure all safety regulations are followed within the warehouse and logistics areas.
  • Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.

Other responsibilities:

  • Assist in adhering to Environmental responsibilities according to ISO14001
  • Assist in developing and submitting packaging proposals for incoming goods.
  • Assist in developing and submitting packaging proposals for customers
  • Any other task pertaining to the job as may be assigned by Management


  • Strong scheduling/planning skills
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (Preferred)
  • Ability to drive a hi-lo safely
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills
  • "Can-do" and cooperative attitude, self-driven, attention to detail
  • Must be flexible and possess the ability to accommodate shifting priorities and changes
  • Comfortable operating in a high energy, often deadline driven environment
