General Coordinator - Remote - Shield IL

Shield IL seeks a Coordinator to assist throughout the organization with communication processes, scheduling, inputting information to spread sheets, and other duties as needed. This person will work with our Assistant Directors and Senior Directors within the organization. This role will mainly be remote with some potential for in person visits.

Duties:
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence
  • Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents
  • Create and maintain filing systems; both electronic and physical
  • Create and update spreadsheets
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Other tasks and special projects, as assigned
Qualifications:

Education

Required:

  • High School diploma

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a Science or Business field

Knowledge and Experience

Required:

  • PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word skills
  • Ability to work remotely in an effective manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely organized
  • Self-starter
  • Proactive
  • Ability to operate with urgency
  • Interest in a career in the healthcare world
  • Willingness to work in a fast pace corporate environment

Preferred:

  • Previous work experience in a start-up environment
  • Previous experience in government, higher education, or healthcare is desirable
