Business Operations Consultant

About the Team

On the Merchant Strategy & Operations | Partner Operations team, our mission is to empower Merchants to operate on DoorDash and to ensure DoorDash works equally well for our Merchant Partners.

About the Role

As a Business Operations Consultant on the Merchant S&O, Partner Operations team, you will work 1:1 with our top Merchant Partners to improve operational improvements to support all of our audiences (Consumer, Dasher, Merchant). You will work with our Product, Analytics, S&O, and Account Owner organizations to diagnose operational challenges, create a roadmap to fix them, and implement them with the Merchant. You will be the face of Ops with our top Merchants!

  • Analyze – Get to the lowest level of detail in diagnosing challenging and complex operational issues our Merchants have operating on DoorDash
  • Strategize – Develop a roadmap in partnership with our Merchants and Account Owners to solve these operational challenges
  • Implement – Go to market with your solutions, track success, and pivot to ensure you achieve your goals
  • Influence – Create deep, trust-based relationships with our Merchant Partners, Account Owners and partners that help you to drive forward important operational initiatives

  • 6+ years of experience in consulting / strategy / business development / operations / technology / banking / restaurants / hospitality or related experience; high-growth or early-stage startup experience
  • Experience leading initiatives, working cross-functionally, and succeeding in a team environment
  • Experience in a customer-facing or relationship management role
  • The idea of working with top national restaurant brands excites you
  • You have SQL proficiency and Excel (can perform complex functions)
