In this role, you will establishes production and operational schedules. Determines parts, materials, other unprocessed goods, machinery, equipment, tools, parts, services and/or other supplies necessary for company operations. We are seeking candidates for the position of Production Planner/Scheduler I!



Responsibilities

- Develops and implements production schedules in Oracle that entail: ordering parts/materials, monitoring delivery performance, scheduling part changeovers, modifying system structure, and/or expediting material flow through system.
- Manages the maintenance of Oracle system to include WIP job, Routing & Resources, Inventory Item setups, parts flow, BOM (Bill of Materials), projects, etc. May test Oracle processes to ensure working properly.
- Supports inventory strategy development and maintains data and systems.
- Coordinates material planning activity for all product discontinuations. May involve working with a cross-divisional team which is focused at minimizing EOL (end of life) inventory.
- Develops production schedules that must meet customer requirements based on forecasts and schedules. Determines shift configuration and other manpower elements to create schedule. May coordinate a cross-divisional team and interact with management. Analyzes environment and coordinates quick schedule recovery.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience and a minimum of 0-2 years' experience in Supply Chain activities.
- Knowledge of Oracle Manufacturing and Advanced Planning Systems or similar system highly preferred.
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects.
- Strong analytical skills and computer skills needed.
- Experience with Excel, inventory systems and graphics applications preferred.
- Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
