The Job

Sinclair Manufacturing (a division of Hermetic Solutions) is looking for a talented Process & Design Engineer who will design conceptual, prototype and production components to meet our defense and aerospace customer requirements. You will also work with a team from other departments in identifying risk areas and potential design issues as well as potential solutions. You will also identify and create bills of materials and process engineering change request as well as, assist in establishing test plans and sales quotes.

We get excited about candidates who have

  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GTOL) requirements.
  • Proven history – 6 months of continuous design - of CAD drafting and design of components and assemblies using 3D software. SolidWorks (currently at site), AutoCAD Inventor, or Creo experience is a plus.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
  • Able to communicate (both verbally and written) in a clear, informative, professional manner to various company personnel, customers and auditors as necessary
  • Eligible and able to work on CUI and ITAR projects.

Education/Previous Experience Requirements

· Associate’s degree (A.A.) or beyond from a college or technical school. Curriculum must have an emphasis on mechanical and electrical component design, concepts, and practices. Materials (glass) science a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,939.00 - $121,209.00 per year
