Drift Interiors

We are a tight-knit firm that specializes in multi-family interior design (apartment communities - leasing centers, clubhouses, fitness centers, swimming pools, indoor and outdoor amenities, and model units) and we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Interior Designer to join our team. We handle every phase of design in house including conceptual design, design development, construction documents, purchasing/expediting, and installation of goods. We are looking for someone who has experience in these facets of design, someone who can take on projects and run with them, and someone who is reliable and loyal in their work ethic. This is a full-time position and requires travel when necessary. Currently we are in office 2-3 days per week in the Greenwood Village area and work remote the remainder of the week. We love what we do, and we have fun doing it and we look forward to finding another like-minded interior designer to join our team!

Job Requirements:

· Work from office 2-3 days per week and remotely remainder of week

· Current and thorough knowledge of AutoCAD LTE is necessary

· Knowledge of:

+ Studio Designer = preferred

+ Photoshop is preferred

+ Microsoft Office is necessary

· Strong technical proficiency in the development of interior drawings

· Knowledge of commercial furnishings & commercial finishes

· General knowledge of ADA requirements

· Prepare schedules, budgets, and working documents during all phases of the design process

· Assist with the development of design concepts

· Research, source, specify and calculate the cost of FF&E materials

· Assist with the preparation of budgets, estimates and purchase orders

· Select design elements to create unique and purposeful spaces

· Maintain client, vendor, and consultant relationships

· Prepare layouts, elevations, sketches, color boards and other documentation for presentations

· Meet with materials reps to update and maintain samples library


· Degree in interior design from an accredited college/university/program

· Previous experience in commercial interior design (at least 3 years)

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry and/or move up to 25 lbs.

· Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, bend, squat, open doors, and climb/descend stairs

· Required to drive routinely to project sites, showrooms, and other work-related business in Colorado (must have own vehicle)

· Required to travel via air to visit project sites (mainly throughout the west coast – California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
