Position Title: Senior Financial Analyst (5E)

Position Summary

Responsible for analysis, reporting, training and consultation on matters relating to operational and financial components of Real Estate Acquisitions (REA).

The REA team is a turnkey lease negotiation and comprehensive transaction closing shop that operates in partnership with Crown Castle’s broader Real Estate team and Property Management. Our primary mission is to reduce risk, improve operational ease, and extend the maturity of our tower and rooftop portfolios. In short, our mission is to deliver certainty so our customers can enjoy the long-term use of our infrastructure.

A successful candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, great attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline driven and dynamic environment. Experience with Excel, Power BI, SQL and other technology tools to automate the organization of vast amounts of data into useful information is essential. The Senior Financial Analyst will engage in cross-functional partnerships with various stakeholders across Real Estate, Corporate Finance and Operations with frequent interaction with leadership.

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for conducting financial analysis of varying degrees of difficulty. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the linkages between the financial metrics and business levers resulting in expected feedback and guidance to the business on how to improve departmental operational and financial results.
  • Create simple to complex models to fulfill various ad hoc requests for analysis.
  • Convert or create insightful and meaningful reports in Power BI that often will require us of SQL programming
  • Provide exemplary customer service to the business in quality of deliverables (content, design and completion time).
  • Communicate regularly with the leadership team to keep them well informed of financial items via conversations, presentations and reports.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual results including the tracking of key financial metrics, budgets and forecasts.

Required Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

Required Experience

  • Five (5)+ years of experience in a financial analysis or accounting-related position

Required Skills/Abilities

  • In-depth experience with financial analysis, valuation and reporting
  • In-depth experience with Power BI, SQL and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet applications
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and interpersonal skills
