District Sales Manager

Barcel USA is an exciting, young and fast growing consumer packaged goods company headquartered out of Coppell, Texas with a strong presence in the largest markets in the U.S. We manufacture, distribute and sell a great selection of innovative candy, cookies, and snacks offering a mix of very unique, sweet and spicy products with varying degrees of intensity and sweetness.

  • Develop, execute, and achieve localized sales objectives in assigned retail stores based on national programs and objectives through management and training of distributor partners.
  • Maximize distribution, shelving, and merchandising of Barcel products in assigned retail stores (e.g., Wal-Mart, Grocery and Convenience stores).
  • Manage assigned store groups and administer trade promotion programs.
  • Manage trade contracts, display programs, and expense budgets.
  • Participate in new product launches and store resets at customer locations.
  • Perform special projects at the direction of the Divisional Sales Manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Must have some experience in Food and Beverage product sales.
  • Experience with 3rd party Direct Sales Distribution (DSD).
  • Willingness to travel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • General computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office products required
  • Demonstrated skill in organizing work, setting priorities and planning required.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and demonstrate accuracy and diligence in completed work.
  • Demonstrated skill in working toward goals despite encountering obstacles.
