Retail Store Manager

Store Manager needed to join a growing, dynamic retail team in North Houston (Cypress Area). Are you a dynamic, energetic, customer focused, dedicated person that wants to be a part of our extraordinary team? The Store Manager will manage a team of over 50 associates, conduct daily management duties while and ensuring store compliance with all safety procedures, maximizing profit margins through forecasting, sales reports, store promotions/programs, and managing inventory along with directly working with our devoted customers.

Job Requirements
Must be available to work any day of the week. Must be able to work every other weekend and be flexible to change as needs arise. Physically be able to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years of retail experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or higher in Management, Retail Management, Business
  • 4 years external managerial experience supervising direct reports including direction, training, recruitment, hiring, performance management, coaching, and recognition.
  • 1 year experience performing "manager on duty" functions including management of daily store operations and processes within and beyond assigned areas of responsibility.
  • 2 year’s experience in hardware/home improvement industry.
  • Bilingual verbal fluency in Spanish plus!
