Strategy and Business Development

We are looking for an energetic, ambitious, and thought provoking individual who is willing to learn the ins and outs of the industry, and in time, be able to contribute to the growth of the company in a multitude of ways. The candidate does not necessarily have to have any background knowledge in the market, but they should possess the ability to understand the items, understand the positive and negative feedback received for existing items in our line, and apply that knowledge to the consideration of future items that will be added to our product line (this will be discussed in group meetings, so that ideas can be shared). The individual will also be seeking out new accounts to sell to, such as major supermarket chains, wholesalers, and even e-businesses similar to current partners of ours like LivingSocial, Amazon, Wayfair etc. The selected applicant will also partake in discussions and sales proposals with the owners of many business and in time be able to manage these relationships themself.

Essentially what I am looking for is a Number 2 guy/girl. Someone that I would trust executive decisions to, that I generally wouldn’t trust to anyone but myself. Our company is growing rapidly and coming across more opportunities than we can efficiently allocate enough time and resources to capitalize on. Through thorough mentoring and coaching, I would like you to be able to take on some of these responsibilities so that together, as a team, we can make this business flourish into a leading US brand.
