Healthcare Customer Service Representative ($15-$17 an hour)

Job Title: Medical Administrative Senior Representative
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Address: Remote to start, then transition to 1340 S Damen Ave, STE 400, USA
Pay Range: $14.00-$16.00/hour (paid weekly)
Duration: 07/06/2021 to 12/31/2021 (special project)

Duties:

  • Coordinates with various departments in order to resolve customer/client, patient requests
  • Performs data entry of physician orders, supply and equipment orders
  • Must be familiar with scanning and EMR (Electronic Medical Records)
  • Ensures orders are received, verified and entered for provider review in a timely manner.
  • Answers general inquiries by telephone, e-mail and/or in person.
  • Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing with internal/external customers on status of orders and medical records requests.
  • Complete necessary data entry by ensuring all fields are accurately completed by provider and sent back to original requestor in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoots and resolve internal/external customer issues.
  • Ensures daily requests are resolved to secure patient continuity of care is met.
  • Other duties as required and related to this role.

Skills:

  • Minimum (1) year experience working in a home health setting. Preferably in medical records.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to culturally diverse situations, participants and customers.
