Inside Sales Representative - Business Development

We are seeking a highly driven Inside Sales Representative to join our Seattle Sales Team in our downtown Seattle office.
Our clients are busy, focused professionals that are serious about improving their chances for dating success. In the Inside Sales Representative role, you will convert warm, inbound leads into members of IJL Seattle. Your drive to succeed – paired with your innate ability to connect with and determine peoples’ needs – are the building blocks to your success at IJL.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Inside Sales Representative you will be responsible for presenting IJL’s unique matchmaking services to warm leads and converting them to clients. You will expertly and energetically offer expertise and guidance during the interview process, providing a realistic picture of the IJL experience and process.
Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Representative:

  • Selling our services over the phone and face-to-face * Developing rapport quickly with a variety of clients * Communicating with new and existing clients to discuss their needs * Explaining how these needs could be met by our specific dating services * Answering questions about membership features and pricing * Emphasizing membership features based on analysis of client needs * Selecting matches for clients based on client interview * Working toward both individual and team monthly goals

JOB REQUIREMENTS
As an Inside Sales Representative you must be self-motivated, insightful, confident and enthusiastic with a positive attitude as well as a strong aptitude for sales. You must also be an effective communicator with the ability to exercise high levels of discretion, honesty and integrity while handling sensitive and confidential client information.
Specific qualifications for the position include:

  • At least 2 years of business development experience a MUST, with a minimum of 1 year inside sales * Experience with Inbound/Outbound sales calls * Proven ability to overcome objections * Excel at consultative selling, setting appointments and closing * Able to develop qualified leads as well as continue existing client relationships * Prior experience and achievement working in an organization that provides monthly and annual production targets based on individual performance quotas * Excellent communication skills, including strong telephone and client communications
