Account Receivable Clerk

CHASE Professionals is currently representing a company located in Atlanta, GA that is hiring for a Account Receivable Clerk to join their organization on a Temp to Hire basis. This position offers advancement opportunities within the organization.

The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services. This position processes and monitors accounts receivable (cash application) and ensures that all unit finances are accurate, timely, and handled in accordance with all company policies and procedures and state and federal guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable:

  • Maintains systematic, accurate, and timely processing of all accounts receivable including, but not limited to, invoicing, posting payments, processing deposits, and preparing credit memos.
  • If applicable, ensures all invoicing is billed daily and in accordance with company practices and client contract Performs any follow-up on provider bills not received in a timely manner to decrease invoicing delays.
  • Researches and responds to inquiries from clients regarding payment issues, outstanding invoices, and invoice

General Duties:

  • Prepares and ensures accurate timely completion of month end, quarterly and year end reporting requirements.
  • Ensures the confidentiality and security of all financial files.
  • Performs a variety of clerical duties including, but not limited to, answering telephone inquiries, taking messages, filing, scanning and photocopying.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements Needed:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 2 year on the job experience in accounts receivable (cash application) required.
  • Must be knowledgeable in multiple software programs, including, but not limited to, Great Plains, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet.
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals, fractions, hours & minutes, and possess the ability to compute rates and percentages.
  • Ability to write clearly and informatively to all required audiences and edit own work for appropriate spelling and grammar.
  • Ability to respond appropriately and professionally to all inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, upper management, and/or members of the business community.

Pay: $39,000.00 per year
