Position Summary and Responsibilities


Teledyne Controls is seeking a Connectivity Solutions Integration Engineer to join our team.  This position is primarily responsible for conducting the technical aspects of planning, deployment, and validation of Teledyne’s GroundLink Connectivity Solutions suite of products, which provide data and aircraft-ground communication access to/from aircraft systems as well as airborne crew devices. The ideal candidate will assure proper operation of components installed on aircraft as well as ground-based installations with primary focus on the functional rather than hardware aspects of system integration. Key tasks also include defining requirements and integration of GroundLink products with partner applications/systems plus provide technical support for GroundLink related certification activities. Essential aspects of this role include leadership skill as well as extensive interaction with customers and solution partners.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:

  • Establishment of GroundLink system configuration and deployment requirements to meet customer’s operational connectivity needs.
  • Manage the technical aspects of GroundLink Connectivity Solutions deployment at customer’s facilities which includes closely working with Teledyne’s system deployment program management team.
  • Support the Teledyne certification team to achieve aircraft certification of Teledyne products. Included is supporting the generation and execution of Ground Test Procedures in both a lab and customer environment.
  • Engage Teledyne partners to validate integration of third-party systems that part of Teledyne GroundLink Solutions deployments.
  • Contribute to defining the GroundLink Connectivity Solutions roadmap based on customer experience.
  • System deployment includes significant IT related tasks including deployment/management of PKI security and working closely working with the Teledyne Security team.
  • System deployments requires the ability to travel to customer and vendor sites (domestic as well as international) as well as the ability work with a flexible work schedule.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or other related Engineering discipline, or a minimum of three (3) years of related Systems Engineering, development, and customer integration experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office application tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
  • IT related skills such as networking and cyber security knowledge is a significant plus.
  • Programming skills, e.g. using Microsoft Visual Studio C++ and/or C# is desirable.
  • Highly beneficial is active aviation experience such as holding of a pilot’s license and IFR rating as well as IT related experience..
