Job Title: CT Scan Technician

Location: Painted Post, New York

Duration: 6 months



Position Description:

Development Contract Process Technician (Non-Exempt)
* This is a Contract Process Technician role in the Development organization .
* Work is performed in a manufacturing plant, not an office environment
* This particular role is M-F 3-11 shift with some overtime required and some weekend work necessary.

1. Able to work in an engineering team located in a manufacturing plant
2. Flexibility to work a changing schedule and/or overtime as required
3. You must have reliable transportation to get to work
4. Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
5. Able to accurately collect numerical data and accurately enter the data into Excel
6. Will follow all safety regulations and use required PPE and ergonomic equipment

2. You are a self-starter, dependable, and have a positive, can-do attitude
3. You have good communication and interpersonal skills and like working in a team
4. You organize your work and manage time to complete tasks correctly, on time, with minimal supervision
5. You accept responsibility for your work and ask questions when you need help
6. You can handle more than one assignment at a time and can quickly shift to a different task

Other Skills:
1. Able to set up and run measurement and testing equipment on your own, after training
2. Technically curious about the work, the equipment, the process
3. Anticipates problems and acts to prevent them

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Note: Training provided, experience preferred.
1. Operate a CT Scanner, automatically and manually interpret images providing feedback of features to CT requestors.
2. Need to possess independent capability to drive analyses, pose questions and propose next steps in CT analyses.
3. Logistical support for scan queue. This may include coordinating schedules.
NOTE - this is a fully enclosed and shielded CT unit. No machine specific safety equipment is necessary for the technician to operate.

Education: Required:

2-year degree or higher. Preference for STEM (Science, Technology / IT / Manufacturing), Engineering Tech, or Math) degrees.
* Personal Protection Equipment, Safety shoes and Safety glasses, is required.

Note: Generally a full time position but hours are generated based on weekly needs. Reduction in hours could be necessary if business conditions require.
