Warehouse Administrative Assistant

Staffmark currently has an opening for a talented, professional individual to fill the role of a Warehouse Administrative Assistant in the Kansas City, KS area. This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to work within Human Resources.

Responsibilities will include

    • Build and maintain good relationships at all levels of the customer’s organization and deliver exceptional service by ensuring and handling all customer service inquiries, concerns, issues, and ensuring consistent quality.
    • Works with the customer’s team to coordinate and forecast staffing requirements.
    • Development and execution of effective recruiting strategies that deliver the applicant flow and hiring results to meet and exceed fill rate and on-time fill rate goals. Facilitate new hire orientations and safety walks.
    • Manage and oversee daily timekeeping process and reconciliation of time to ensure payroll and invoice accuracy.
    • Counsels temporary employees relative to attendance, productivity, and overall job performance
    • Maintain compliance to Staffmark operations, systems and employee records. Ensure compliance to the contract between the customer and Staffmark for background checks, drug screening, billing, and any other terms outlined in the agreement.
    • Duties will be performed on the warehouse floor.
    • Participate in team off-site recruiting activities
    • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma/GED, Associate's degree preferred
  • 18+ years of age
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Personable, customer service oriented
  • Punctual and professional
  • Computer experience
  • I-9, E-Verify
  • 6 months to 1 year of recruitment experience preferred

Schedule: M - F 6am-3pm, subject to change and vary

Compensation: $16 - $18 per hour
