This position on the Investment and Fiduciary Services (IFS) Fiduciary Oversight and Consulting team is responsible for the day-to-day front line risk management support for the Trust Services product within Banking, Lending and Trust (BL&T) in the East region, including markets in Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Ensuring satisfactory risk management via compliance with IFS policies and procedures by:
  - Completing all Internal Controls each month required by Risk Management.
  - Monitoring reports as required (e.g., Overdrafts, Cash & Position Escalations, Delinquent & Charged-off Fees, Outstanding Checks).
  - Coordinating compliance, risk management & operations testing and projects as needed. 
  - Evaluating the level of compliance with policies and procedures via local inspection and using Internal Controls.
• Ensuring fees are correctly charged by:
  - Monitoring new account fee set-ups and invoices payable.
  - Providing support for fee modifications, transitions, and implementation on new accounts.
• Monitoring system access, additions, changes and deletions for timely processing.
• Completing management reporting of losses and review all loss reports.
• Providing operational and risk management advice to help ensure all field offices operate in the most efficient manner possible.
• Actively communicating and training office staff to ensure that all new and revised policies and procedures are followed. 
• Identifying and communicating operational/risk/compliance issues and assists staff by answering questions, researching problems; proposing and implementing appropriate solutions promptly.
• Assisting with new hire on-boarding and training as needed.
• Exhibiting strong team-building skills by working regularly with other Business Support Consultants, IFS Associates, Trust Advisors, Investment Strategists, and other WIM partners. 
• Building solid relationships with peers and acting as a resource for others whenever appropriate.
• Promoting morale and pride in Wells Fargo, and working as a team by maintaining a positive attitude and behaving professionally, cooperatively, and in a constructive manner with all members of the team. 
• Prioritizing work and managing time effectively.



Required Qualifications

  • 4+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: administrative support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services demonstrated through work or military experience

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Intermediate knowledge of investment and fiduciary terminology, concepts and principles


Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

VA-Richmond: Min: $65,700 Mid: $92,500 Max: $119,300
