The Cyber Security SIEM Architect will be a member of Global IT Risk & Security and responsible for providing advanced levels of security planning, consulting and assessments of IT security solutions. The role will participate in the design, development, and implementation of security solutions that encompasses Log Management and Security Information Event Management (SIEM) technologies across the global enterprise. The position requires the ability to manage multiple project priorities related to a variety of tasks such as performance of IT risk assessments, cyber security incident response and sensitive investigations.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Define technical architecture and process solutions that when combined together meet their business requirements.
  • Provide consulting services for IT risk and security expertise to assist business units to meet their business requirements.
  • Coordinate the engage subject matter experts from across the organization to drive the creation and maintenance of the IT policy manual and associated standards and guidelines based upon the priorities established by management.
  • Facilitate and/or perform control self-assessments using standard Risk and Control Frameworks for IT and physical assets.
  • Perform individual or lead team-based IT investigations and analysis of network and, computer digital forensics using a standard case management approach.

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in MIS, computer science, engineering, technology, business administration or related discipline.
  • 5+ years' work experience in information technology, including experience in IT Security is preferred.

  • Broad Working knowledge of multiple business functions and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team player capable of creating relationships, working well with new acquaintances and confidently.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems: MS Office Products, advanced understanding of Windows, networking and IT security tools and processes.
