Job Details

We are looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer that is:
Passionate about clean energy
Passionate about making advanced fission a reality
Willing and able to learn quickly
Proficient with measurement techniques, signal conditioning, data acquisition, and logic diagrams
Proficient with identifying and specifying components based on requirements
Experienced implementing feedback control and automation with industrial equipment and processes
Experienced with digital networks and communication protocols
Experienced with analog and digital circuits
Experienced with communicating with vendors and manufacturers
Experienced with Python
Familiar with thermal energy conversion systems and components
Familiar with electricity transmission and power electronics
Familiar with Git version control
Eager to work on a dynamic team, receive constructive feedback, and grow with us
Willing to think differently and do things in new ways
Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly iterative startup environment
Excited to think creatively, critically, and reflectively about the problems they are solving, while not leaning only on what has been done before
Willing to propose novel and creative solutions to technical problems
An excellent writer who can write in modern active voice, so make your cover letter compelling and write it well!
Able to communicate technical content and results verbally

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience with measurement techniques, signal conditioning, data acquisition, and logic diagrams
Experience identifying and specifying components based on requirements
Experience integrating instrumentation and control components into industrial systems or processes
Experience with analog and digital circuits
Experience with Python
