Our location in Manhattan, NY currently has an opportunity for a Pediatric Specialty Sales Representative.

The Pediatric Specialty Sales Rep in Therapeutic Nutrition Sales is responsible for the promotion, management and growth of Abbott Nutrition products in hospitals and office settings. Specific emphasis will be on Children’ s Hospitals, Pediatric Gastroenterologists, Pediatric Allergists and Pediatricians with a focus on leading specialized nutrition brands such as, ELECARE, PEDIASURE HARVEST, PEDIASURE INSTITUTIONAL and PEDIASURE PEPTIDE.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

‚Äʬ†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†Full ownership of hospital and office accounts

‚Äʬ†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†Executing strategic sales initiatives designed to exceed established sales goals

‚Äʬ†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†Work closely with District Manager and cross-functional / interdisciplinary teams to execute the strategic account plan

‚Äʬ†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†Deliver clinical and scientific benefits and information in a sales environment by comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines

‚Äʬ†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†Work effectively with Clinical Nutrition Managers, Discharge Planners, Dietitians, HMEs and Physicians

‚Äʬ†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†Prioritize the utilization of resources to drive return on investment

‚Äʬ†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†Plan and organize to maximize focus on top priorities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required

  • Strategic account planning experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Selling experience across a wide range of Health Care Practitioners in Hospital Setting and Office environment
  • Strong Business acumen demonstrated through solid understanding of the healthcare landscape
  • Clinical/Healthcare experience is a plus (RD/RN)

MISC:

  • Customer Base: Children‚Äô s Hospitals, Pediatric Gastroenterologists, Pediatric Allergists and Pediatricians
  • Travel: overnight travel- 2 -4 overnights per month - annually about 10% (2-3 meetings a year) - regional meetings, annual sales meeting, district meetings
