PART TIME

M-F, 10:00 AM--2:00 PM (20 hrs)

Perform media handling responsibilities per documented processes and procedures. These tasks include but are not limited to mounting / demounting of media into Automated Tape Libraries or Stand Alone Drives. Performing system commands as needed, Scanning, Comparing, processing media for movement activities (Vault In or Out, Mail In or Out, Emergency Recalls, DR Test Shipments, intersite media movement, Destruction events, etc). Retaining, posting and verifying of required evidence for audit purposes. Assisting customers via phone, Instant Messaging and email. Interacting with hardware included placing service request via phone/electronically as required.

WILLING TO TRAIN DURING FIRST WEEK OF EMPLOYMENT

Minimum Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

  • Moderate computer skills, experience using Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) is required.
  • Ability to use email, communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  • Ability to follow detailed processes/instructions is required.
  • Must possess basic inter-personal relationship skills and must be capable of working with peers in a team environment.
  • This position must also know and perform all required tasks/job duties after receiving training relevant to the client.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
