The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in communication, or a related field, and have experience in the public relations industry. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students, and ongoing scholarship.The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in public relations, social media, public speaking and business communication, and will have an opportunity to develop upper-level courses in public relations. Ability to teach courses in group communication and interpersonal communication will be a plus. Applicants with experience advising student PRSSA-affiliates or public relations clubs are especially welcome.
