FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, a global leader in high purity chemical solutions for the semiconductor manufacturing industry, has exciting opportunities at our Mesa, AZ facility for experienced Process Engineers!

Our Process Engineers provide technical support to design, develop, troubleshoot, and characterize high volume manufacturing processes in a safe, environmentally sound, and economic manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor daily production for high volume manufacturing processes for key processes
  • Document procedures for process of record for key processes/products. Update MII work instructions; verify batch records and MII documentation
  • Support the scale-up commissioning and qualification of new and replacement systems
  • Support and participate in environmental, safety and health and quality department programs and requirements
  • Conduct Hazard assessments including OHSAS and Environmental Assessments
  • Conduct shelf life studies on new or existing products in finished good packaging and prepare technical reports
  • Analyze statistical process control performance, OOC's and trend alerts. Requires use of Excel, JMP or other statistical software
  • Investigate Nonconforming Materials, report findings to internal MRB and process paperwork
  • Generate Engineering Change Notices
  • Prepare MOCs as required
  • Provide problem solving expertise for a wide range of technical problems of various engineering projects
  • Responsible for planning and executing projects as assigned by supervisor
  • Participate in customer meetings, audits and answer customer complaints using an 8D or customer formats as required
  • Conduct and document trend review investigations

REQUIREMENTS

  • BS in Chemical Engineering
  • 3 to 5 years of process engineering experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
  • High purity chemical manufacturing experience preferred
  • Demonstrated innovative thinking and scientific/engineering approach to solve product development problems in a work environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong computer skills for Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel; JMP or other statistical software packages
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Strong SPC knowledge with experience in calculating control limits and analyzing data populations
  • Individual must be highly organized and work cohesively as part of cross functional teams
  • This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
