General Information Student Research Assistants works for the Office of Prospect Research supporting University Advancement by identifying and maintaining data points to guide fundraising efforts. Successful candidates will be responsible for entering, calculating, evaluating, organizing, writing and editing data. Student Research Assistants are expected to work 8-12 hours per week. Duties and Responsibilities Database verification of constituents.
Scanning newspapers and internet/news alerts.
Assisting Central Filing.
Data analysis, statistical computations and data entry.
Project support and maintenance.
Proper handling and disposal of confidential documents.
Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Requires strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in data entry, database management, and Microsoft Excel. Previous experience with statistical packages is a plus. Conditions of Employment

Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
