General Information Team Sports Officials are responsible for the administration and judgment of all situations that occur during Intramural Sports activities. Officials make decisions based on the rules of the game, safety and risk management, UREC Intramural Sports rules differences and the UREC Service Ethic.

Some of the sports we are hiring for are: Flag Football, Soccer and Floor Hockey Duties and Responsibilities 1. Team Sport Officials ensure the safety of each participant by applying the rules of the game.
2. Team Sport Officials appraise teams of their sportsmanship during the course of each contest.
3. Team Sport Officials interpret the principles of advantage/disadvantage during game situations.
4. Team Sport Officials prepare the facilities for each contest, includes, set up/breakdown and risk management evaluation.
5. Attendance and active involvement at New Hire and Common (August) Training sessions mandatory.
Attendance and active involvement at staff meetings and in-service training as required.
6. Attendance at Sport Specific Training Sessions. Qualifications Conditions of Employment

Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
