WFJ Advisor, Saks NY, Vault

Position Summary / Primary Duty:

The CHANEL Watches and Fine Jewelry (WFJ) Saks Vault Selling Advisor is champion of the CHANEL Leased WFJ boutique in the multi-brand retail (MBR) environment at Saks Fifth Avenue, New York. Through passion for client service and WFJ expertise, The Saks Vault Selling Advisor will consistently provide a superior level of service to clients, increase client conversion and retention, drive business revenue, and inspire brand loyalty.  The WFJ Advisor is responsible for the end to end client experience.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of new customers, converting walk-in traffic to clients and brand ambassadors by creating energy, excitement and desire around the product and brand
  • Optimize the client experience through providing clients with prompt, professional, warm and courteous service
  • Build genuine relationships with internal and external clients through thoughtful and consistent outreach
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude in every situation to constantly raise the level of service provided and consistently exceed client expectations
  • Take in repairs and maintain consistent follow up with clients regarding repairs and alterations
  • Inspire Saks Associates to engage with CHANEL WFJ; offering elevated client experience for all clients at all times & driving a 360 degree approach to growing client base
  • Maintain a positive working environment with peers & management; encouraging feedback & mutual respect and teamwork
  • Participate in initial and frequent on-going training and development, including Chanel savoir faire, product details and service delivery. Actively share savoir-faire with clients & Saks Associates.
  • Manage book of clientele with agility and resilience, continuously improving sales based on key performance indicators and lessons learned
  • Partner closely and effectively with leadership in the Multi-Brand store environment, including store management and other leaders of lease operations as well as CHANEL WFJ Corporate Sales Team
  • Thrive in a complex way of working internally, across categories and with key Saks Associates
  • Leverage point of sale drivers including Visual Merchandising, Marketing & Events + to drive business
  • Regularly communicate opportunities, challenges and solutions to management; creating a solution-oriented culture with MBR Department management and leadership
  • Communicate inventory needs

Knowledge and Experience

  • Luxury Sales Experience
  • Watches & Fine Jewelry Experience
  • Experience in Department Store environment preferred
  • Qualitative Client Book
  • Rapport and ease of relationship building with other sellers and key influencers

Minimum Education:  BA

Minimum Years of Experience: Min 5+ years in Sales, Retail Environment or Multi-Brand Retail atmosphere
