Associate, Federal Data Operations

KPMG is currently seeking a Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Support data collection, aggregation, and data analytics modeling and simulation 
  • Support enterprise level analysis of data for engagements
  • Support the build of data pipelines to pull together information from feeder systems to; integrate, consolidate, cleanse data, and structure for use in data applications
  • Work with data warehousing concepts, relational databases, structures, and ETL best practices in finance, operations, enterprise environments 
  • Provide engagement execution / support in areas of:  data management, data extraction, data analysis, advanced analytics, and reporting
  • Work with large data sets within a variety of tools to include, but not limited to:  Excel, Access (VBA), SQL and/or Alteryx 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of professional Data Analytics / Operations experience; Federal Consulting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Knowledge of advanced analytical concepts, data modeling, simulation, and optimization 
  • Knowledge of advanced concepts, particularly simulation and optimzation 
  • Experience / knowledge with:  Julia, SQL, MATLAB, Python, Julia, VBA, R
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) 
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal government security clearance within a reasonable period of time, which requires U.S. citizenship
