Trauma Program Educator - RN (Part time) Jefferson Abington

Under the supervision of the Trauma Program Manager, the Trauma Program and Injury Prevention Coordinator works collaboratively with clinical educators, the trauma team, and the community health education services to educate the clinical nursing staff and community. This professional educates the clinical nursing staff to assure comprehensive and specialized care for trauma patient populations. He/she utilizes registry data to develop and direct injury prevention education to the community recognizing population-specific needs. This is accomplished through direct patient care consultation, formalized clinical education, ongoing monitoring of staff competency, and the development and orchestration of injury prevention education for the community.A. Experience:3+ years nursing experience. Patient education and staff education experience preferred. Trauma nursing experience required, injury prevention education experience preferred.

B. Education & Training:BSN required, MSN preferred.

C. License, Certification & Registration:Current Professional Licensure as R.N. in the Commonwealth of PA. Basic Cardiac Life Support.

D.
