We are seeking an Administrative Specialist for Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo, CA. This position will work closely with the administrative group and provide support to the location's office management team. The successful candidate will have professional communication skills, computer proficiency, and strong attention to detail.

As an Administrative Specialist, you'll greet location visitors, answer calls, and complete required permits/certificates. You'll process pre-need and at-need sales contracts, and create/modify documents, correspondence and reports. Additionally, you'll provide transportation services as needed and assist client-families with past due accounts and process payments. You'll partner with Funeral Directors and Sales Counselors to assist client families in funeral and visitation planning. Additional duties will include ensure all invoices are audited for accuracy before forwarding to the accounts payable department and processing orders for markers.

Job Requirements:


Successful candidates will bring the following skillsets and attributes to the role:
  • 1+ years of administrative support experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to learn new software and conduct new tasks
  • Professional communication and organizational skills
