Sr Systems Administrator- Conferencing Systems

This position will stretch your current skills, develop new skills and innovate conferencing experiences for on and off campus users. Qualifications Required in the Job:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, or relevant experience.
5 or more years' experience in system administration or storage administration experience.
Display expert understanding of Hardware, Operating Systems, Storage, Replication, and Network Technologies.

Preferred:
• Architecting and administrating enterprise level cloud-based applications (Experience with Zoom or Mural is preferred, but not required. Experience with collaboration applications preferred).
• Experience with Single Sign On using SAML.
• Experience writing code to interact with APIs.
• Enterprise network experience (understanding of routing/switching, firewall rules, etc.).
• Actively learn to be a power user of Mural and Zoom.
• Identify and communicate with power users of Mural and Zoom.
• Will be required to trouble shoot and manage trouble tickets with vendor technical support.
• Implementing and overseeing cloud-based collaboration software.
• Assisting with design and management of Conference Rooms (Audio/Video experience is a plus).

Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve complex internal or external infrastructure problems independently or through leading others.
Problem resolution can require in-depth data capturing and analysis using a wide variety of diagnostic tools.

Decision Making:
Assignments can include new technologies and procedures, and most project and support decisions will be made with limited guidance and direction.
Decision making in problem resolutions can have significant business impacts and Senior System Administrators are expected to engage IS Leadership when decisions expand beyond their area of responsibility.

Span of Influence:
Review the work of others on their teams and provide recommendations to IS leadership.
Interact with Project and Support teams, Business Users, and IS leadership.
No administrative responsibility for other associates but will serve as mentors and provide feedback on other associates to their leaders.
