Licensed Health Insurance Agent (REMOTE-YEAR ROUND)

Our company is hiring Licensed Health Insurance Agents for a Major Health Insurance Company. Health Insurance License Agents must contact a Health Insurance License or a Health and Life Insurance License. These hires can contain a 215 license or a 240 license.

This position will require Health Insurance Agents to enroll individuals nationwide into Medicare Advantage Plans.

Health Insurance Agent Job Description:

We are looking for motivated and sales-driven 215 agents and 240 agents who can effectively handle both inbound and outbound sales calls. The Licensed Healthcare Agent is responsible for meeting and exceeding all sales goals. These roles will support Medicare Advantage Plans nationally.

Licensed Health Insurance Agent Duties :

  • Our Licensed Health Insurance Agents will maintain a focus on meeting all sales goals and other key performance indicators such as call handle time, cancellation rate, and quality scores.
  • Attend and participate in team huddles, meetings, and scheduled training sessions.
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and be resourceful.
  • Qualify, educate and enroll individuals into healthcare plans that meet their needs. Build comprehensive policies through a consultative approach.
  • Correctly enroll clients based on compliance and training requirements to sell appropriate products.
  • Licensed Health Insurance Agents must maintain a strong desire to sell, to express empathy while maintaining a positive attitude with the ability to be energetic and convey enthusiasm.
  • Health Agents should be coachable, be open-minded, and be open to constructive feedback.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and notify management of any unforeseen absences or tardiness
  • Communicate with your Supervisor regularly, and be responsive when they call, email or chat.
  • 215 agents and 240 agents will be required to adhere to Medicare guidelines.
  • Abide by all regulations surrounding health insurance, CMS, state, or other entities.
  • Maintain and keep current all licenses and continuing education requirements.

Health Insurance Agent Qualifications:

• Active Health or Health and Life License Required

  • Knowledge and understanding of Medicare Advantage, and/or Medicare Supplement Plans and/or ancillary products.
  • 215 License or 240 License required for Florida Licensed Health Insurance Agents
  • Current AHIP certification preferred to sell to Medicare Advantage recipients.
  • Experience with Medicare Sales is preferred
  • Agency sales experience preferred; strong Telesales experience.
  • Ability and capacity to understand various products from multiple carriers and assist clients to make the best healthcare decision.
  • Demonstrated ability to attain daily sales goals, self-motivated and sales driven.
  • Strong computer and internet skills.
  • Medicare Advantage knowledge is a plus!
  • Excellent verbal and detailed written communication skills.
