Role and Responsibilities

Working within the accounting group, and reporting to the Director of Accounting, this role will start off as a supportive role, with great opportunity for fast growth.  The right candidate will be looking to start at a base level and grow into new accounting responsibilities. Duties to include:

 

Convert, review, and send out daily invoices to customers

Review and send aging reports to customers weekly; monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities

Investigate and resolve customer queries

Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records

Receive drop-ship bills and invoice customers 

Invoice international shipments out of main office and Vegas warehouse.

Invoice client refurbs & packing lists

Daily mail pick-up and distribution

Issue customer invoices for reimbursable freight charges

Process all express, ocean, and air freight bills and identify as cg cost and reason why or if cost is billable

Update PFA records w/ actual freight charge and help maintain updated records

Process customer and vendor returns/credits

Provide backup support to other members in the accounting department, draft periodic reports and perform other general administrative duties

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred, but not required

1-3 years work experience 

Preferred Skills

Microsoft Excel (basic) required, (advanced) beneficial

Basic understanding of GAAP

QuickBooks experience a plus

Ability to work within a team and communicate with multiple internal departments (including international oveseas office)

Problem analysis and problem solving skills

Strong communication skills - both oral and written

High degree of accuracy and attention to detailStrong organizational skills and sense of urgency
