The Paralegal will provide support to the General Counsel, Litigation & Regulation and Senior Counsel. The role provides a broad range of litigation support services for employment, commercial, and other general litigation matters.

Client Details

Our client is a global investment manager firm located in NYC.


  • Assist with managing the Company's legal Books and Records and document retention policies
  • Liaise with external counsel and litigation support vendors; manage all stages of electronic and other discovery
  • Oversee and assist with the creation and maintenance of case and other legal databases; collect and identify data for input into legal databases, such as document retention requirements and employee relations matters
  • Provide support and coordination for internal investigations
  • Prepare responses to requests from regulators and assist with investor diligence requests
  • Assist with the preparation of documents related to the development/implementation of corporate policies/templates
  • Support the implementation of various special projects, including preparing presentation materials, organizing and tracking the development of project documentation, and assisting attorneys in the presentation of such materials
  • Partner with external counsel and legal billing to ensure the timely tracking, processing, and payment of legal invoices


  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience supporting litigation and regulatory matters required; experience working in or in support of financial services firms preferred
  • Superior collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships and credibility with relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to anticipate/accommodate the ongoing needs of senior-level stakeholders; provide "high touch" client service
  • Highly organized and proactive; able to manage multiple priorities and meet multiple deadlines
  • Possesses professional integrity; displays discretion, tact, and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed sense of ownership and accountability; consistently exhibits sound judgement
