What you’ll do:

Come join us! We are looking for an IT Risk and Compliance Analyst I to join our Issues Management Program. This person will communicate with stakeholders and assist with issue and exception needs.

This role will give the analyst exposure to TJX management. They will use their security best practice knowledge, intelligence and agile thinking to make themselves, their teammates and TJX successful through management of IT risk.

The analyst will be expected to:

  • Perform basic risk assessments and security reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies, standards and regulatory requirements. This will include performing root cause analysis, investigate and resolve security incidents, identify security risks and exposures, determine causes of security violations and design, recommend and track procedures to mitigate future incidents.

  • Will be able to proactively evaluate if an event needs to be escalated to management, recommend a course of action for low to medium complexity situations and provide input and recommendations to management to change current procedures.

  • Follow-up with owners to ensure remediation efforts are consistent with policy and escalate instances of noncompliance. Track progress of remediation with responsible partners and support teams

  • Perform deep-dive analysis of issues using data from various sources; analyze data sources and provide recommendations remediation.

  • Perform basic procedures of low complexity vital to ensure the continuation of core IT risk and compliance functions.

  • Provide support to projects, work with user community and assist with IT risk and compliance needs

  • Support Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting efforts through building tailored analytics solutions, managing dashboards, reporting to stakeholders.

  • Will demonstrate an ability to work independently, handle their workload in an organized manner and will communicate very effectively.

What you will need:

  • Aptitude for IT Risk & Compliance concepts and methodologies.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • Solid working knowledge with MS Office.

  • Basic understanding of concepts of risk analysis, computer security, IT systems, and networking.

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow GRC tool is highly desired.

  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
