Job Details

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Understanding AC/DC control systems with the ability to read component cut sheets to assist with setup in the field.
  • Ability to use computer software for design engineering and PLC programming with limited direction.
  • Attending project meetings with customers and perform customer training on systems.
  • Understanding and staying familiar with electrical safety, standards, and procedures.
  • Providing technical support of PLC systems, networks, and hardware during installation, in addition to remote support after installation.
  • Conducting the full scope of controls project services.
  • Designing and delivering successful control projects and exceptional customer service with regard to schedules, time and budget.
  • Assisting in the production of detailed schematics.

Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent, with 7+ years experience.
  • Experience managing a team
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Familiar with the standard-used concepts, practices, and procedures with controls, material handling, water, and wastewater systems, and manufacturing.
  • Demonstrates effective organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities, has acute attention to detail, the ability to receive direction, and be a high-energy team player with the ability to work independently, as well as in a group environment.
  • PLC programming, debugging, and commissioning
  • AutoCAD
  • Electrical equipment and local building codes such as UL508a, NEC and NFPA
