About the Extruder Operator Job
Pay Rate: $16 - $18/hour depending on experience Shifts: Monday - Thursday 7AM - 7PM, 48 hours a week
Job Duties
The Extruder Operator performs the following tasks: - Control extruder process following given parameters and settings - Ensure product conformity and carry out visual/physical inspections - Monitor and maintain production records - Troubleshoot process as needed - Maintain safe and clean working environment Extruder Operator Qualifications - High School graduate or GED. - Ability to Lift 60 lbs. - The ability to communicate (read, write, speak) clearly in English. - Minimum of at least 1 year previous manufacturing experience ideally with background in injection molding or plastics extrusion. - The ability for precise measurements, including use of scale. - The ability to work overtime and/or flexible schedules including occasional weekends, as needed, to meet production demands. - Knowledge of safe work rules. - Must have good organization skills.
