Join our Shared Services Accounting team in an Accounts Payable Supervisor position in Denver!

What You'll Be Doing

Accounts Payable Supervisor position will be responsible for:

  • Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support or production team (AP and dropship billing)

  • Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion

  • Receives guidance and oversight from manager

  • Typically, does not spend more than 20% of time performing the work supervised

  • Accountable for the results of routine support or production operations teams.

  • Solves problems based on set policies and procedures

  • Participates in the interview/hiring and training of team members. Provides input into and delivers employee performance evaluations

  • Research GAAP issues escalated from staff, provide direction on technical accounting matters. Escalate to upper management as necessary.

  • Participate in special projects related to: new processes, issues or changes in structure.

  • May help to facilitate Internal Cross-divisional reporting.

  • Perform due diligence related to mergers/acquisitions and any consolidation processes from an accounting perspective, coordinate information exchange and conversion monitoring and process testing.

  • Perform specific merger related accounting tasks in order to ensure purchase transactions/entities are properly accounted for.

What You'll Need:

  • Typically requires a 4 year degree and 2–4 years of related experience

  • A/P management experience preferred

  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team of professionals, including some remote employees

  • General understanding of accounting principles, plus strong math and analytical skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

  • Proven skills in leading a dynamic team to meet all organizational requirements and timelines

  • Experience with Oracle preferred

  • Experience with multiple ERPs including Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, Microsoft AX

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:$58,500.00 - $71,500.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
